Erw Glas Glamping & Camping is an award-winning, family-run business in the beautiful Conwy Valley. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper / Accommodation Assistant to join our friendly team.
This role involves preparing our accommodation and communal facilities to a high standard for arriving guests and helping us maintain the excellent standards we are known for.
The position is approximately 10–15 hours per week, with various weekdays and weekends depending on bookings. This is a seasonal role until September/October with the potential for ongoing work throughout the year with reduced hours.
Responsibilities
- Preparing a variety of glamping accommodation, including shepherd huts and glamping tents, for arriving guests
- Making beds, including bunk beds, and ensuring accommodation is presented to an exceptional standard
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and living areas with excellent attention to detail
- Maintaining communal guest facilities to a high standard
- Working in an efficient and organised manner whilst maintaining exceptionally high standards throughout
- Working independently and as part of a small team during busy changeover days
- Taking pride in creating a welcoming first impression and helping deliver an outstanding guest experience
Experience
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work efficiently
- Comfortable with a physically demanding role, including making bunk beds, bending, stretching and being on your feet for extended periods
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Full UK driving licence and own transport essential due to our rural location
- Weekend availability and school holidays are essential
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Due to our rural location, there is no public transport available to the site, therefore own transport is essential
Hours & Availability
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Most shifts are 4–5 hours and typically take place between morning and early afternoon
- Flexible working days depending on guest bookings
