Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part time Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Support children's emotional, social, and physical development through personalised care and attention.
- Collaborate with colleagues to organise daily routines, activities, and special events.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and health information in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to childcare operations as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
- Ability to organise activities that promote learning through play.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles requiring transportation duties.
- Passionate about child development with a caring, patient demeanour.
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare). This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute positively to young children's lives while advancing their professional skills within a supportive environment.
Pay: £12.71-£13.20 per hour
