Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various commercial premises. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working order
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean environments and are committed to delivering excellent service. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning is considered an advantage.
