Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles.
- Diagnose faults accurately using specialised tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems in a timely manner.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and organisational standards.
- Assist in the installation of new parts to vehicles.
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role. Minimum 10 years.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent are preferred.
- A valid driving licence is desirable for mobility across sites.

- Must be able to carry out a minimum of clutch replacements, timing belts and turbos.
