⭐ About the home:
Based on the doorstep of the New Forest National Park, this 6x bedded and mixed-gender residential children's home is located in Lymington, and supports young people aged 10-14 with learning disabilities and its associated challenges. Currently housing 6 young people , 4 of which with nonverbal autism, the home features a large garden used for engaging activities, as well as 'education-stations' where young people are given informative lessons tailored to their individual care plans.
With all of the young people now in full-time education, they often spend their free-time out on incredible activities. The young people love going on relaxing walks in the vast national park and regular visits to their favourite trampoline park!
Shifts:
- Week A: long day on Tuesday and Thursday, late shift on a Wednesday
- Week B: long day on Wednesday and Friday
- Week C: long day on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
What I'm looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years working within Residential Childcare
- Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare
- Full UK Driving License
