Overview
DGS Service Solutions are seeking a reliable Part Time Cleaning Operative to join our team for The Range on the Buncrana Road in Derry . This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the store. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across the store including shop floor and back of house
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure surfaces, floors, and fixtures are hygienic and presentable
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Restock cleaning supplies and materials as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Maintain a professional attitude and ensure customer satisfaction through thorough cleaning standards
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and reliability are essential for success in this role
