Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with restaurant standards and recipes
- Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, ensuring consistency and quality in meal presentation
- Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations during service periods
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and maintain a clean, organised work environment
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure availability of ingredients
- Support junior kitchen staff through training and mentorship as required
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting new ideas and improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Excellent skills in meal preparation, plating, and presentation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Experience in serving or front-of-house duties is considered an advantage but not essential
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred
