The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Solution Consultant to help grow our strategic partnership with Workiva, a leading platform in reporting, compliance and financial transformation.
This role sits at the intersection of CFO advisory, presales and commercial ownership.
You will lead opportunities from initial engagement through to close, working directly with CFOs, finance leaders and senior stakeholders to understand their challenges and shape high-value transformation solutions.
Success in this role comes from combining strong discovery, solution expertise and commercial judgement to influence deal outcomes and deliver measurable business value.
This is not a traditional support-style presales role — you will play a central role in driving opportunities forward and shaping how deals are won.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading Client Opportunities
- Own and drive opportunities from discovery through to contract signature
- Lead structured discovery sessions with CFOs, Finance Directors and senior stakeholders
- Identify key business challenges and translate them into actionable solution strategies
Solution Advisory & Value Positioning
- Act as a trusted advisor to finance leaders on reporting, compliance and transformation challenges
- Translate complex requirements into clear, outcome-led solutions
- Deliver compelling demonstrations, workshops and executive-level presentations
- Articulate business value, ROI and transformation impact
Scoping & Structuring Deals
- Define project scope, delivery approach and commercial structures
- Work closely with consulting teams to ensure solutions are positioned for successful delivery
- Develop proposals and statements of work aligned to client objectives
Partnership & Pipeline Development
- Collaborate closely with Workiva on joint opportunities and go-to-market initiatives
- Contribute to pipeline generation through networking, market engagement and partnership activity
- Strengthen the strategic partnership through consistent deal execution
Commercial Ownership
- Maintain momentum across opportunities and influence deal progression
- Take accountability for shaping and closing deals
- Contribute directly to revenue growth and partnership success
What We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in candidates who combine solution expertise with commercial ownership and stakeholder credibility.
You might currently be working as a:
- Senior Solutions Consultant
- Presales Consultant with deal ownership
- Client-facing Consultant involved in presales and commercial activity
- Finance transformation consultant with exposure to sales cycles
Key attributes include:
- Strong discovery, storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience leading workshops and presenting to senior audiences
- Commercial awareness and ability to progress deals toward close
- Ability to structure solutions, proposals and statements of work
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Experience with finance, reporting, ESG, GRC or data platforms is advantageous but not essential.
