The Maples is a Residential Care Home for the Elderly in Peacehaven and we are currently looking to recruit Senior Healthcare Assistants to support our developing and expanding staff team
The responsibilities of the Senior Healthcare Assistant is to:
- Provide daily support to staff and residents
- Administer medication in line with the prescribers direction and following the homes medication policy (training and support will be provided in this area before being expected to complete this task)
- Run and manage a shift, ensuring that all residents needs, wants and wishes are met
- Contact when required Health professionals
- Maintain contact with families ensuring that they are kept updated on their relatives general health and wellbeing
- Leading by example and providing direct support
- Support the management of the home with the on-call system (this will only be instigated once settled into the role and confident
- Raise any concerns or issues with the Deputy Manager or Manager
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: £13.50 per hour
