The Old School House Nurseries are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and driven Nursery Manager, with a wealth of experience in the Early Years Sector to join our expanding team.
Established in 2017, we currently comprise of four nurseries in the Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Aldridge and Lichfield areas and are expanding further this year. This is a an exciting opportunity and for the right candidate will be a fulfilling and rewarding position.
The position of Nursery Manager that we have available is at our newest nursery that opened in January 2025 and is expanding and growing our team of skills and passionate practitioners too!
What is the role of the Nursery Manager?
Day to day, our Nursery Managers are to oversee the overall smooth operation of our nursery, providing high quality and premium childcare to our children and parents attending the nursery. Ensuring that the nursery and the staffing team are compliant with the statutory framework and the implementation of the EYFS, promoting high quality teaching and learning in the environments and most of all safe.
Our learning environments are unique, as well as our visions and values. We believe in empowering our practitioners by providing the training and knowledge they need for their roles and supporting with their professional development. As a Nursery Manager, you will have the responsibility of enhancing the environments, providing training and support to your staffing team alongside a super numerous Deputy Manager too.

What do we require?
- Extensive experience of Nursery Management (8+ years in desirable)
- A passion and desire to join a growing company and growing The Old School House Nurseries brand together
- Ability and knowledge of managing occupancy and meeting FTE targets
- Experience of managing budgets and financial spending for settings
- A passion for training and developing educators knowledge and skills
- Level 3 Early Years Educator (or full and relevant equivalent early years qualification)
- Impeccable knowledge of the EYFS and statutory framework
