Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen alongside the head chef. Duties
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards within the kitchen
- Manage inventory, order supplies in conjunction with the head chef, and minimise waste to optimise kitchen operations.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Assist in food preparation during busy periods or special events as required
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferable but not essential.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in food presentation.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Previous restaurant experience is preferable

Pay: £14.50 per hour
