We are looking for a passionate, caring, and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team. About the Role
As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Building positive, trusting relationships with children, their families, and colleagues.
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality care and education.
- Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress to support their individual learning journeys.
- Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals where appropriate to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Taking part in continuous professional development (CPD) and undertaking additional training to support your professional growth and career progression.
Safeguarding children is our highest priority.
The successful candidate must have a sound knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policies, and procedures, with the ability to recognise concerns, respond appropriately, and contribute to creating a safe environment for every child. You must understand your responsibilities in protecting children and promoting their welfare at all times.
A good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is essential, along with the ability to apply this knowledge confidently within everyday practice.
Essential Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and child protection procedures.
- GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and professional approach.
- A commitment to ongoing learning, professional development, and continuous improvement.
Desirable Requirements
- Registered with the DBS Update Service.
- Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate.
- Previous experience working within an early years setting.
