Happy Camper is a rapidly expanding caravan, campervan, and motorhome specialist based in St Helens. Due to continued growth and high demand, we are looking to recruit an experienced Caravan Technician / Motorhome Technician / Campervan Technician to join our skilled team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in caravan repairs, motorhome servicing, campervan conversions, or mobile caravan maintenance who is looking for a secure, long-term role with genuine progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities – Caravan & Motorhome Technician
As a Caravan or Motorhome Technician, you will:
- Diagnose and repair caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and static caravans
- Carry out mobile caravan repairs, inspections, and on-site fault finding
- Complete workshop-based servicing and repairs in a fully equipped facility
- Perform electrical fault finding and installation work
- Undertake joinery, interior repairs, and sealant application
- Install diesel heaters and other motorhome systems
- Work efficiently to deadlines as part of a professional team
Working Environment
- Based at our St Helens workshop and service centre
- Fully equipped, modern workshop facilities
- Combination of workshop-based and mobile repair work
- Structured workflows and supportive team environment
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 8:00am – 1:00pm
Requirements
We are looking for experienced Caravan Technicians, Motorhome Technicians, Campervan Technicians, or Caravan Service Engineers with:
Essential:
- Proven experience in caravan, campervan, or motorhome repairs and servicing
- Strong diagnostic and practical repair skills
- Full UK driving licence (for mobile work)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable (training can be provided):
- Electrical systems and fault finding experience
- Joinery and interior repair skills
- Sealant application and water ingress repair knowledge
- Diesel heater installation experience
- NCC, City & Guilds, or relevant industry qualifications
