Mitie are currently looking to recruit a Site based Security Operation Support Manager to oversee a key client contract ensuring the delivery of agreed contract objectives/targets.
Location - Norwich City Centre - There is free parking available.
Hours - 40 per week, this is mainly Monday to Friday days with flexibility required to start and finish later occasionally.
Pay Rate - £15
Our Operation Support Manager will be assisting with managing the day to day operational of the site through effective management of staff and customers. The Operation Support Manager will work closely with the Management Team and onsite staff and ensure that all business-related tasks are completed in a timely fashion.
The main duties of the Operation Support Manager will include (but not be limited to):
- Ensuring employee welfare checks are completed
- Scheduling
- Ensure training plan is monitored and delivered
- Conduct return to work interviews
- Manage any blow outs
- Help complete monthly report and present to the client
- To assist in recruitment of employees, working in conjunction with the Corporate Security Manager.
- Conduct disciplinary and sickness investigations with employees.
- Conduct and monitor staff appraisals. Set clear objectives, support and develop all direct reports and ensure appropriate succession plans are in place
- Build, maintain and manage positive relationships
- Act as Duty Manager in the absence of the Operations Manager
The Site Based Security Operation Support Manager will have:
- Full driving licence
- Front line SIA licence
- At least 2 years security industry experience
- Financially aware
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in problem solving
- Previous management/supervisory experience
- Good IT and systems knowledge
