Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Official Veterinarian to complete and deliver Animal Health Certificates during home visits, with the successful applicant taking over the client base already established in North Manchester and the surrounding area (Warrington, Bolton, Bury etc.). This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide a convenient service for pet owners wishing to take their dogs to the EU and beyond. The appointments can take place either at the clients home address or at a location convenient for yourself, if appropriate.
All appointments are booked and managed centrally, with certificate completion being semi-automated. You will have complete control over the schedule that you work, with the booking calendar synchronised to your personal calendar - this role is perfect for those wishing to make some extra money around their current job.
Duties
- Liaise with the administrator to ensure compliance for Animal Health Certificate issuance
- Complete, print, sign and stamp the Animal Health Certificate
- Perform a home visit appointment to finalise the Certification process
Experience
- Competent and confident Official Veterinarian with experience in issuing Animal Health Certificates for companion animals
- Experience in Export Certificates preferable

- The successful applicant must have their own professional indemnity insurance
