We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a kitchen assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, washing dishes utensil and ensuring a clean working environment for our culinary team. This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
o Efficiently clean and sanitise cookware, cutlery, dishes and kitchen equipment using the dishwasher and by hand.
o Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas, including work surfaces, wall, floors, oven and storage areas
o Assist with food prep and basic kitchen tasks as needed.
o Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and inform our head chef of any shortages.
Requirements
o Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as we offer on the job training.
o Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods of time.
o Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
o Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
