Responsibilities of a Child Support Worker
- To support and enable the children to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering person-centred care unique to each individual
- To keep training and skill levels up to date and relevant
- Support the children to maintain their relationships and connections with the local community
- Ensure Care Support Plans and other information about how to support the children are followed
- Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support
- Provide or support with personal care - cooking, cleaning, administer medication, washing.
- This role will include long shifts and alternative weekends
