Hours: Full-time (including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis)

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Team Leader to help lead our dedicated care team and ensure the highest standards of care for our residents.
The Role
As a Team Leader, you will support the management team in the day-to-day running of the home, supervise care staff, and ensure residents receive exceptional care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the care team during each shift.
- Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.
- Administer and monitor medication where appropriately trained and authorised.
- Support the development, implementation, and review of individual care plans.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to Care Assistants.
- Maintain accurate care documentation and ensure compliance with care regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
- Report any safeguarding concerns, incidents, or changes in residents' health promptly.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and supportive working environment.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a senior care or Team Leader role within a residential or nursing care setting.
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
- Good understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and medication management.
- Flexibility to work a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.
