Job Title: Private Client Solicitor
Location: Shildon, County Durham
Salary: £28,000 – £78,000 (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Full-time, 36 days holiday including bank holidays and Christmas closure
About the Role We are recruiting, on behalf of a client, a Private Client Solicitor to join their team in Shildon. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a supportive and well-respected firm serving individuals and families across County Durham.
The successful candidate will:
- Draft Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and handle estate administration and probate matters
- Advise on trusts, tax planning, and related private client matters
- Develop strong relationships with clients and provide professional, empathetic guidance
- Contribute to the growth and reputation of the Private Client department
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in Private Client work
- Be confident managing your own caseload
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Be approachable, empathetic, and professional when dealing with clients
- Take pride in delivering high-quality advice and exceptional client service

- Private Client work: 2 years (preferred)
