Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure it is stored safely after use.
- Follow specified cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly.
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and techniques to ensure effective sanitation without damaging surfaces.
- Ensure all work areas are left tidy and presentable at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good organisational skills and reliability.
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties, which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
