Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience while adhering to food safety standards and responsible service practices. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Flexibility, good time management, and a friendly demeanour are essential qualities for success in this position.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks in accordance with standard recipes and procedures
- Take orders from customers accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all beverages are served promptly and at the correct temperature
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to licensing laws
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system
- Restock supplies as needed throughout shifts to ensure smooth operation
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow food safety regulations and organisational policies at all times
- Assist with general bar setup and closing procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is advantageous but not mandatory; full training will be provided
- Good understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly attitude
- Knowledge of restaurant operations or similar environments is desirable
- Personal presentation should be neat, professional, and in line with organisational standards
