Key Responsibilities:
- Support young people within the Youth Justice Service, focusing on transition and rehabilitation
- Deliver targeted interventions to reduce reoffending and promote positive outcomes
- Undertake risk assessments and intervention planning
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including courts, education, and safeguarding services
- Maintain accurate case records and reports in line with statutory requirements
- Attend court hearings, panels, and review meetings, advocating for young people
- Engage directly with families to provide holistic support and guidance
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Experience within a Youth Offending Team / Youth Justice Service
- Strong understanding of risk management, safeguarding, and youth justice frameworks
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
