The Role
We looking for a dedicated and patient-focused Responsible Pharmacist to lead the day-to-day running of our busy community pharmacy in Chester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced community pharmacist who enjoys delivering high-quality patient care while working within a friendly, supportive team. You'll play a key role in maintaining clinical standards, developing pharmacy services and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Responsible Pharmacist during your shift.
- Ensure the safe, legal and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
- Accurately dispense NHS and private prescriptions.
- Deliver NHS services including Pharmacy First, NMS, Hypertension Case Finding, NHS Contraception Service and seasonal vaccinations.
- Provide professional advice on medicines and minor illnesses.
- Supervise and support the pharmacy team.
- Maintain compliance with GPhC standards, SOPs and pharmacy legislation.
- Build strong relationships with patients, GP surgeries and other healthcare professionals.
- Support the growth of NHS and private pharmacy services.
About You
- Must be a GPhC-registered Pharmacist in good standing.
- Have previous community pharmacy experience.
- Be confident working as a Responsible Pharmacist.
- Have excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Be organised, proactive and patient-focused.
- Be committed to delivering outstanding healthcare and maintaining high professional standards.
