We're looking for a proactive and organised Recruitment Officer to join our People & Culture team and help us attract, engage, and retain exceptional talent across our growing multi-site organisation.
About the Role
As Recruitment Officer, you'll work closely with hiring managers and key stakeholders across the business to deliver effective recruitment campaigns, attract diverse talent, and provide an outstanding candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with recruitment or HR experience who enjoys building relationships, improving processes, and making a real impact on organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns across multiple business areas.
- Partner with hiring managers to create job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and networking opportunities.
- Screen applications, coordinate interviews, and support selection processes.
- Organise recruitment events, selection days, and job fairs.
- Conduct pre-employment checks, including references and DBS checks.
- Support employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality candidates.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment legislation and company policies.
- Support onboarding, retention initiatives, and exit processes.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience working in recruitment, HR, or a business support environment.
- Experience using recruitment or HR systems.
- Strong administration and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification.
- In-house recruitment experience.
- Experience providing candidate feedback.
- Experience developing talent pipelines and talent pools.
- Website management experience.
