Rate: £10.50 per hour
Hours: Flexible – includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Part-time hours accepted, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

About This Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will work as part of a small, dedicated team to ensure children in our care receive high-quality support. You will be expected to work in line with The Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and supervise children and young people in the home, promoting their safety, well-being, and personal development.
- Contribute to and follow individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Maintain a safe, structured environment with clear routines and boundaries.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, social workers, health professionals, and education providers.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records of incidents, progress, and daily reports.
- Follow safeguarding policies at all times and report concerns promptly.
- Participate in household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry to model independence skills.
Requirements
- Must hold Level 3 Residential Children's Health and Social Care
- Experience working with children and young people, ideally in a residential care setting.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.
- Basic IT literacy for record keeping (training in systems will be provided).
- Enhanced DBS (Children) – must be on the Update Service or obtained before starting.
- Aged at least four years older than the oldest resident in the home (per Ofsted regulations).
- Full UK driving licence desirable.
