The Opportunity
You’ll play a key role in managing costs matters from start to finish, including:
Preparing Bills of Costs for Detailed & Provisional Assessment
Progressing and litigating bills through the Court process
Supporting fee earners with technical costs advice
Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders
Opportunities for advocacy (where appropriate and agreed)
What We’re Looking For
2+ years’ experience in a costs role (in-house or external)
Court of Protection experience is essential
Strong understanding of legal procedures and costs processes
Confident communicator with a genuine passion for costs law
➕ Nice to Have
ACL, ILEX or similar qualifications
Broader experience across legal departments
