Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with legal standards and company procedures.
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repairs.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and services.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience as an MOT Tester or Mechanic.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicles.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to vehicle testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Valid certification for MOT testing is preferred.
