Deputy Intensive Home Manager – Children and Young People
Location: Whitchurch
Salary: £31,332 rising to £33,549 per annum (£15.45 - £16.55 per hour) plus additional sleep-in payments
Hours: Long day shifts plus some sleep-ins
Requirements: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle essential
Our client is opening a new 2-bed, high-intensity therapeutic service for children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural difficulties, and they are looking for an experienced Deputy Intensive Home Manager to join the team.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly refurbished, modern home, supporting young people to achieve positive outcomes, build confidence and reach their full potential. You will work alongside an experienced manager and a knowledgeable leadership team within a growing national organisation that values creativity, collaboration and professional development.
As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home, supporting the manager and contributing to the wider regional leadership team. You will be encouraged to bring your own ideas, influence practice and help shape a therapeutic approach that is focused on positive relationships, reduced restraint and language that cares.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a residential children’s home, either at Senior or Deputy level.
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Experience managing budgets and rotas.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
