Kent Garage Equipment has been established for over 27 years and is dedicated to the supply and installation of quality garage equipment to the automotive industry.
Due to rapid growth we are now looking for a Full Time Installation and service Engineer to join our team immediately covering dealerships and independent garages covering Kent, London, Essex, Hampshire, Surrey & Sussex areas as and when required.
Previous experience in engineering or working within garage/workshop setting would be advantageous, but a knowledge of engineering electronics is preferable along with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities will include:
· Installation & servicing of garage equipment, vehicle lifts, Tyre equipment, MOT equipment & general garage equipment
· undertake training on equipment where required & gain GEA accreditation
Skills required:
· Full driving license
· Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering and a willingness to learn
· Confident, with good time management and customer service skills
Monday to Friday (overtime available) - 45 hours a week
20 days annual leave + bank holidays (holiday increases by 1 day each full year of service - up to a maximum of 5 additional days)
Company van, training, overtime, bonus scheme, mobile phone, tablet, workwear, PPE and specialist tools provided (hand tools are your own responsibility)
Salary: dependent on experience.
