We are currently recruiting for a talented and passionate Creative Music Teacher to join a supportive SEND primary school in Rochdale on a permanent basis.
We are looking for an inspiring educator who can bring energy, creativity, and innovation into the classroom through music across KS2 - KS4. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children with complex needs and behaviour, using music as a powerful tool to engage, motivate, and build confidence in pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver fun, engaging, and creative music lessons across the primary age range
- Support pupils with additional needs through inclusive teaching approaches
- Use music to encourage self-expression, communication, and emotional development
- Create a positive and structured learning environment
- Work collaboratively with SEN staff, teaching assistants, and parents/carers
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Previous experience working with children with complex needs and behavioural challenges
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A creative and adaptable teaching style
- A genuine passion for music and making a difference in children’s lives
