As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an ambitious and results-driven B2B Sales Representative to join our team and help expand our customer base across the region.
The Role
This is an exciting business-to-business sales opportunity focused on generating new business, developing client relationships, and promoting tailored telecom and connectivity solutions to businesses across a variety of industries.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying businesses that could benefit from improved broadband, mobile, and communication services — particularly those in rural and underserved locations where reliable connectivity is essential to day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for building a strong pipeline of opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, social media, and field-based prospecting. The role will involve meeting business owners and decision-makers, understanding their operational challenges, and presenting solutions that improve connectivity, communication, reliability, and efficiency.
This position would suit a confident and motivated salesperson who enjoys developing new business, working independently, and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, social media, and field-based prospecting.
- Identify and engage decision-makers within small and medium-sized businesses across multiple sectors.
- Present and sell Dyfed Telecommunication Ltd.’s telecom and connectivity solutions, including:
- Business broadband solutions
- Fibre internet services
- 4G & 5G wireless broadband
- Rural broadband and connectivity solutions
- Digital phone systems and VoIP
- Business mobile packages
- WiFi and networking solutions
- Work with rural businesses and remote sites experiencing poor connectivity or unreliable communication services.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and solution presentations.
- Understand customer pain points and recommend tailored solutions that meet operational and budget requirements.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with business clients.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to successfully close sales.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales and new business targets.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions within the CRM system.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and excellent customer experience.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging telecom technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and confident working independently in a field sales environment.
- Ability to identify customer challenges and present effective solutions.
- Experience within telecoms, broadband, IT, technology, or connectivity sales is essential.
- Understanding of rural connectivity challenges would be beneficial.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
