Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards on construction sites, ensuring a tidy and hazard-free environment. Duties
- Clean and clear debris from construction sites, including dust, dirt, and waste materials
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and tools to ensure surfaces are free of dust and residues
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with safety regulations and environmental standards
- Maintain cleanliness of site facilities such as toilets, break areas, and storage spaces
- Assist with the organisation of materials and tools to promote a safe working environment
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to site supervisors promptly
Skills
- Valid driving licence is preferred for transportation between sites or access to different locations
- Good command of English to understand instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with site managers or visitors
- Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks efficiently within the team
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure all cleaning duties are completed thoroughly and safely
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
