- On-call allowance: £40 per day
- If called in: hourly rate paid on top of on-call allowance
- Sleep-in shifts: £80 per night

About the Role
You will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where young people can thrive. Responsibilities include:
- Building positive and trusting relationships with young people
- Supporting emotional, social, and behavioural development
- Promoting a safe and structured home environment
- Engaging young people in meaningful activities
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care planning
- Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
Senior roles will include additional responsibilities such as key working, leading shifts, and supporting junior staff.
Waking Night Staff will focus on ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young people overnight, maintaining a calm environment, and completing regular checks and reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children and young people (residential experience desirable)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Resilience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
- A full UK driving licence (preferred for day roles)
Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 3 in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards) are desirable.
