Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic and Commercial Cleaner to join our professional cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises, including residential properties and commercial establishments. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of domestic and commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to ensure health and safety standards are met
- Empty bins, replace liners, and manage waste disposal efficiently
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks during cleaning tasks
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing or window washing when required
- Ensure all work is completed within designated timeframes while maintaining quality standards
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a professional attitude
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients as needed
