About the Role
We are recruiting a reliable and flexible Mobile Cleaning Operative to work across multiple sites in Workington and the wider West Cumbria area. You will follow a weekly schedule provided in advance and ensure all locations are cleaned to a high standard. Travel between sites will be carried out using the company‑supplied van.
Key Responsibilities
- Travelling between sites across West Cumbria using the company van
- Cleaning offices, washrooms, communal areas and site‑specific spaces
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and surface cleaning
- Restocking consumables and emptying waste bins
- Following cleaning schedules and completing checklists
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and professionally
- Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and presentation
Requirements
- Flexibility to meet changing site needs
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and professional at all times
- Able to follow health & safety procedures
Hours
- 32.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Weekly schedule provided
- Start/finish times may vary depending on site requirements
