Allstaff Manufacturing has an exciting opportunity for Assembly Operators to work with our client at their site in Thornliebank, on a twilight shift, initially on a temporary basis with a view to becoming a permanent role after 10 weeks.
Hours of work for this role are Monday to Thursday 4.30pm - 10pm.
Our client is a well-established business and are looking to add to their experienced team.
The job duties will include:
- Production and assembly of plastic parts
- Packing and labelling of bags
- Palletising boxed product
- Organising goods for despatch
- Inspecting parts before and after assembly
- Identifying defects or damaged components
- Assembling components and sub-assemblies to specification
- Using basic hand tools
- Operating basic machinery or assembly equipment
The role will involve some machine work and some manual handling.
Manufacturing experience is desired but not essential for this role.
