Temporary Office Administrator (HR & Recruitment Support)
Genie Cleaning Services Ltd is an established commercial cleaning company providing professional cleaning services to businesses, schools and commercial premises across the Midlands. We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality, reliable service and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients.
We are looking for an organised and reliable Temporary Office Administrator to join our busy office team. This is a varied role supporting the day-to-day administration of the business, including recruitment, HR administration, compliance and general office duties.
Location: Aldridge, Walsall
Job Type: Temporary
Hours: 12 hours per week
- Friday: 9:30am – 3:30pm (essential)
- Thursday: 9:30am – 3:30pm (preferred, however an alternative weekday can be discussed for the right candidate)
Rate of Pay: £13.00 per hour
Annual Equivalent Salary: £8,112 (based on 12 hours per week)
About the Role
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail and be confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate office systems, records and the Company database.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the office and operational teams.
- Carry out general administrative duties including filing, scanning, data entry, answering telephone calls and responding to emails.
- Assist with recruitment by creating and managing Indeed job adverts and monitoring recruitment activity.
- Support the onboarding of new employees and prepare employment documentation.
- Monitor compliance using the Company database, including:
- Staff contracts
- DBS checks
- Right to Work documentation
- Training records
- PAT testing
- Site Risk Assessments
- Other compliance requirements
- Provide administrative support with HR processes, including preparing documentation, maintaining confidential employee records and liaising with the Company's outsourced HR advisors.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous administration experience.
- Is organised, reliable and able to manage their workload independently.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Has good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Can handle confidential information professionally.
- Previous recruitment or HR administration experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
