Labour Hire are looking for an MECHANIC / TECHNICIAN for a well-established garage in LEIGHTON BUZZARD
This is a direct permanent position, with no agency probation period!

About You:
- Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter, Junior Mechanic, Fast Fit Technician or similar automotive role.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Experience fitting tyres, balancing wheels and carrying out basic vehicle maintenance would be advantageous.
- Hard-working, reliable and able to work well within a team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Positive attitude with a desire to progress within the motor trade.
About the Role:
- Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 08:20 - 17:40 (1 hour lunch) plus Saturday mornings on a rota basis (1 in 2), 08:20 - 13:10
- Fitting and replacing tyres on a wide range of vehicles.
- Carrying out wheel balancing, puncture repairs and tyre inspections.
- Assisting senior technicians with servicing, maintenance and repair work.
- Completing basic mechanical tasks including brakes, batteries, exhausts and vehicle checks.
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety procedures.
- Supporting the workshop team to ensure vehicles are turned around efficiently and customers receive excellent service.
