Job Title: Mobile Forklift Engineer
Basic Salary: £31,000 – £38,000
OTE: £36,811 – £45,124 (based on 5 hours overtime/week)
Overtime: 1.5x
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (40 hours)
Location: To cover Scotland
We’re currently recruiting for a Mobile Forklift Engineer working with a well-established and employee-focused material handling company based near Glasgow. Due to their increased workload, they are expanding their team!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Servicing and maintaining forklift equipment
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Replacing worn or damaged parts
- Completing job reports and maintenance records
What We’re Looking For:
- Technical qualification (City & Guilds / SVQ) or relevant experience
- Experience as a Forklift Engineer, Plant Engineer or similar
- Knowledge of diesel engines, electrics and hydraulics
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
