We are seeking a team of friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounders to join our brand new coffee shop. This role involves preparing high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our busy café environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist customers with orders, answer queries, and provide friendly, attentive service.
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or snacks as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage basic maths for change and sales reconciliation.
- Ensure the café environment is welcoming, tidy, and well-stocked throughout shifts.
- Assist with general duties such as restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and supporting team members during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Basic food preparation skills are beneficial to support kitchen activities.
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.

Pay: £10.85-£14.80 per hour
