Bridge Education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Site Supervisor to join a well-maintained school site in Preston, supporting the day-to-day running of the premises.
This is a full-time, long-term/ongoing position, responsible for ensuring the school environment is safe, secure and well-presented for pupils, staff and visitors.
The school takes pride in maintaining high site standards, with a strong focus on health and safety, security and compliance, making it an excellent opportunity for a Caretaker or Site Manager looking for a stable role in a school setting.

School Caretaker role requirements:
- Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role
- Basic DIY and maintenance skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- Reliable and proactive approach
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
The successful School Caretaker will:
- Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
- Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises
- Conduct regular health and safety checks
- Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas
- Liaise with contractors and external providers where required
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school site
Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
