The Governors of St. Oswald’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, dedicated and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our happy and hardworking EYFS team in our Nursery and Reception provision and support learning in Key Stage 1.
The successful candidate will work with groups of children within the EYFS setting as well as deliver learning programmes tailored to individual pupils’ needs. Duties will include teaching under the direction and instruction of the EYFS Lead. Experience of working in a school EYFS Nursery or Reception would be an advantage.

Demonstrates effective behaviour management and a caring approach

Holds an EYFS recognised Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)

Feel confident in their own Maths / English skills appropriate to demands of all key stages

Preferably has experience supporting children in an EYFS setting and children with SEND

Uses initiative while also responding well to direction from the EYFS Lead

Engage in aspects of wider school life

Brings a good sense of humour and a positive attitude to school life
