We are seeking a dedicated Factory Operative to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the production process, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Duties
- Assist with the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specified standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the factory workspace
- Support stock management by loading and unloading materials in the warehouse
- Regular stock checks to assist procurement.
- Stock organisation and clear labeling of materials.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a secure working environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding machinery operations
- Experience with hand tools and power tools is essential for assembly tasks
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for handling materials and stock management.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required
- A proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
