Salary: £50,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: Panama Shifts (Days and Nights)

Due to ongoing growth and expansion, an opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team in Coventry.
The Role
This is a hands-on maintenance role supporting manufacturing operations across a busy production facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities across a range of production machinery and site equipment, supporting both electrical and mechanical systems within the facility.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive engineering team, contributing to continuous improvement projects, minimising downtime, and ensuring equipment reliability across the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across manufacturing equipment
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical systems
- Support maintenance and repair of production machinery and site equipment
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Assist with continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
- Support maintenance planning and scheduled servicing activities
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
About You
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment
- Electrical or mechanical maintenance background
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible approach to working Panama shifts (days and nights)
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Proactive and hands-on engineering approach
Desirable Experience
- Manufacturing or production machinery maintenance experience
- Electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent engineering qualification
- Experience within fast-paced industrial environments
- Continuous improvement or TPM exposure
