Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across our facility. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. A commitment to providing excellent customer service is essential, as you will be interacting with staff and ensuring their satisfaction with our cleaning services.
Hours / Days of work:
2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday)
3 hours per shift
6 hours total per week over 2 days
Shift Patterns: 10am until 1pm
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, mopping and vacuuming the offices.
- Ensure all areas are clean and tidy, including restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Cleaning the washrooms and kitchen facilities using the specific chemicals provided.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with staff to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse cleaning role is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A proactive attitude towards work, demonstrating reliability and integrity.
- Capability to work independently
