Head of Clubhouse Operations & Member Experience
Join us during an exciting period of growth to lead hospitality, operations and an exceptional member experience.
The Parklangley Club is one of the South East's leading racket sports clubs, offering tennis, squash, badminton, gym and fitness facilities alongside a vibrant social calendar and welcoming clubhouse.
As we continue to invest in the future of the Club, we're looking for an experienced and passionate operational leader to join our Leadership Team as our Head of Clubhouse Operations & Member Experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, developing high-performing teams and creating exceptional customer experiences. You'll take ownership of our member-facing operation, ensuring our bar, reception, hospitality, events and clubhouse environments consistently deliver the welcoming, professional experience our members expect.
About the Role
You'll provide visible leadership across the clubhouse, taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of all member-facing services.
Working closely with colleagues across sport, finance, estates and people, you'll help shape the future member experience while supporting the Club's continued commercial growth.
This is a varied, hands-on leadership role requiring a visible presence across the Club, including evenings and weekends during key trading periods and major events.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading the day-to-day operation of the Club's bar, reception, hospitality and member-facing services.
- Inspiring, coaching and developing front-of-house managers and teams to deliver exceptional service.
- Creating an outstanding experience for members and visitors at every stage of their journey.
- Overseeing the operational delivery of clubhouse events, functions and social activities.
- Driving hospitality standards and maintaining a welcoming, vibrant clubhouse environment.
- Identifying opportunities to grow secondary spend through hospitality, events and retail.
- Overseeing staffing, rotas and operational deployment across front-facing teams.
- Monitoring departmental performance, budgets and commercial outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with our kitchen franchise, sports teams and wider leadership colleagues.
- Ensuring consistently high operational standards across all public-facing areas.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience leading hospitality, leisure, clubhouse or front-of-house operations within a customer-focused environment.
- Is passionate about delivering exceptional customer or member experiences.
- Is a confident, visible leader who enjoys developing and motivating teams.
- Has strong commercial awareness, with experience managing operational performance and budgets.
- Is highly organised with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on operational environment.
- Is flexible to work evenings and weekends when required to support key events and trading periods.
Experience within a members' club is not essential. If you've successfully led hospitality or leisure operations and are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
Why Join The Parklangley Club?

In return, you'll enjoy a varied and rewarding leadership role where your ideas, energy and experience will genuinely make a difference.
