Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and medication dispensation in accordance with data protection regulations.
- Support laboratory tasks as required, including sample handling and processing.
- Provide general administrative support such as answering queries, managing correspondence, and organising paperwork.
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient information and medical records.Skills
- Previous laboratory experience is highly desirable to support clinical procedures effectively.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy to assist with patient queries and medication dispensation accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact confidently with patients and staff.
- Proficiency in using standard office software programmes and healthcare management systems.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while providing exceptional customer service.
