Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, financial activities, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client care. Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the practice team, including veterinary nurses, receptionists, and administrative staff
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of client care
- Manage financial activities such as budgeting, invoicing, and expense control
- Coordinate human resources functions including recruitment, training, and staff development
- Implement and monitor practice policies and procedures in line with industry regulations
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth
- Liaise with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly
- Maintain compliance with health and safety standards within the practice
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a veterinary or similar healthcare environment
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Knowledge of financial management practices relevant to healthcare settings
- Experience in human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and staff development
- Veterinary experience is highly desirable, providing insight into clinical workflows and client interactions
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, tailored to diverse audiences

Pay: £25,206.37-£45,282.25 per year
