Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry tasks including framing, fitting, and finishing work
- Perform roofing repairs and installations with precision and safety awareness
- Undertake construction painting to prepare surfaces and achieve desired finishes
- Install and repair plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing
- Conduct welding tasks using appropriate techniques for structural or decorative purposes
- Handle electrical installations or repairs where qualified, adhering to regulations
- Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for various building activities
- Fabricate components or structures as required, ensuring accuracy and durability
- Assist in site preparation, clean-up, and organisation of materials and equipment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, or electrical work is highly desirable
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for diverse construction tasks
