Shift pattern
Day Shift Monday to Friday (6-2/8-4)
The role
To support efficient warehouse operations by safely operating forklift equipment and handling goods accurately. The role ensures timely movement, storage, and dispatch of products while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and organisation within the warehouse.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operate forklift trucks (counterbalance) safely and in accordance with company procedures,
- Load, unload, move, stack, and store products within the warehouse,
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch accurately and efficiently,
- Check inbound and outbound deliveries against documentation ,
- Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records,
- Perform regular equipment checks and report any faults or damages,
- Ensure correct stock rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles,
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times,
- Follow all health & safety policies and procedures,
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required
What we’re looking for
- Valid and in-date forklift licence (counterbalance)
- Proven ability to operate material handling equipment safely,
- Good understanding of warehouse operations (inbound, storage, picking, dispatch) ,
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Flexibility to perform a range of warehouse tasks
- Physical Requirements (ability to lift and move heavy items)
- Legal right to work in the UK
